I'm Eva, an illustrator and creative designer originally from Taiwan, now based in Almere, the Netherlands. I'm passionate about creating unique and captivating visuals, bringing ideas to life through visual storytelling.

With a background in visual communication design and fine arts, I've worked in various creative roles — from art assistant in a film crew and graphic designer to project manager in a design agency. Since 2014, I’ve been developing a range of greeting cards, prints, and more under the name Happy Nut.

My work is a blend of curiosity and creativity, drawing inspiration from everyday life, nature, and cultural traditions. Whether working with ink and brushes, watercolours, or digital media, I love to experiment and bring fresh ideas to life. In addition to my design work, I’m passionate about urban sketching, Chinese calligraphy, and documenting the adventures of my two sons and me through comic diaries.

The name Happy Nut reflects my joyful approach to life and design, inspired by the pistachio nut, which symbolises happiness in Chinese culture, as it resembles a big smile. I hope my creations bring warmth, joy, and a touch of positive energy to everyone who encounters them.
